Senior Consultant –
Innovation &
Venture Building

As a Senior Consultant at Bluemorrow, you will independently manage small to mid-sized projects and play a central role in more complex engagements. Your responsibilities include:

Client Project Leadership

• Take full ownership of innovation and venture-building projects from scoping to delivery
• Act as the primary client contact, building trusted, long-term relationships
• Lead project teams, ensuring that quality, timelines, budget and scope are met
• Design and facilitate workshops, strategy sessions and executive presentations
• Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations

Business Development & Growth

• Identify follow-up opportunities and actively contribute to upselling and project extensions
• Independently develop and lead standard proposals and pitches and contribute to more complex bids
• Support the development of Bluemorrow’s offerings, methodologies and points of view

Internal Contribution & Leadership

• Over time mentor and support junior team members in their professional development
• Contribute to internal initiatives such as knowledge development, process improvement and thought leadership
• Be actively involved in recruitment processes and team building

Your role will combine strategic responsibility with hands-on delivery, offering significant autonomy while working closely with the larger Bluemorrow team.

• Professional Experience: 4–7 years of relevant experience in consulting, strategy, innovation, venture building, or a corporate / entrepreneurial environment
  
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, innovation, engineering, entrepreneurship, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Project Leadership & Client Engagement: Proven ability to independently manage projects end-to-end, incl. scope, timeline, budget and stakeholder coordination, while acting as a trusted client partner
• Strategic & Analytical Skills: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to structure complex challenges and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Communication & Facilitation: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, incl. confidence in facilitating workshops and engaging senior stakeholders.
• Ownership, Collaboration & Adaptability: Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to work autonomously, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, mentor junior colleagues and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Tech-Savvy: Strong proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools (e.g. Miro), with practical experience using AI and digital tools to support research, analysis, problem-solving, and project delivery
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; German is a strong plus.
• Passion for Innovation: Demonstrated interest in foresight, innovation, and venture building, with curiosity about emerging trends, technologies and new business models
